Paul Annys, Managing Director, Chartered Financial Planner
I am approachable and enthusiastic, with a passion for helping people. The energy that I have coupled with my technical expertise on investments, pensions and tax planning helps me offer clients the support they need.
I have worked for leading global companies such as Friends Provident (now part of Aviva), Zurich Financial Services and Standard Life. Prior to this I worked on the trading floor of the International Petroleum Exchange. This extensive experience in the finance industry has ensured I have the knowledge and expertise to be an effective independent financial adviser.
I am a Chartered Financial Planner, but I have also achieved Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society and The Chartered Insurance Institute which is the highest award available from our professional body.
Over the last few years I have also undertaken some additional research and was subsequently awarded an MSc in Wealth Management from Cass Business School, City, University of London. Outside of the office I have a beautiful wife, three very cheeky little boys and a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Rocco. Time is often spent coaching (and sometimes playing,) at Chipstead Rugby Club.
Tim Rea, Director, Chartered Financial Planner
I am a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society with 18 years of financial services experience and am passionate about building long term relationships with clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
I hold both the Advanced Diploma level qualification via the Personal Finance Society and the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society UK.
My background is in asset management, so I have an in depth experience of the investment world. I joined the financial services profession in 2001 after completing my degree in Economics & Finance and worked at Friends Provident (now part of Aviva) until 2008, followed by the global investment manager, Capital Group, until 2016. I then worked as a Partner at Smith & Williamson before joining Qi Financial Solutions in early 2019.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and have two young children. We live in West Dulwich, South East London, and currently spend most weekends feeding the ducks and scooting around our local parks! I also have a passion for travelling and am a keen sportsman. I particularly enjoy playing football and various racket sports when time (and my body!) allows.
Debbie Holloway, Chartered Financial Planner
I am an Chartered Financial Planner with over 30 years of financial services experience. I am a member of the Personal Finance Society and hold the Diploma in Financial Planning and advanced qualifications in investments and financial planning. I started my career in banking working for Barclays Bank Plc, progressing into mortgage underwriting and advising with Alliance & Leicester Plc before moving into Independent Financial Adviser practices around 20 years ago.
I enjoy establishing and developing new relationships with clients, taking time to listen to their needs and goals and formulating a financial plan together so they can feel confident about their financial future. I am qualified to advise on a wide range of financial planning areas including pensions, investments, wealth planning and protection solutions.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with the family, walking my two dogs in the countryside and practising Yoga and Pilates. I am also the Treasurer of a youth group in which my son and I regularly organise trips away for the local children in my area.
Tracy Sansom, Paraplanner
My role includes carrying out comprehensive research, completing due diligence on financial products and providers and compiling financial reports.
I joined Qi in 2012 from Bestinvest where I specialised in individual pensions and corporate schemes. Having previously worked for M&G and Legal & General I have a wide range of technical knowledge that supports my current role including a number of qualifications via The Chartered Insurance Institute.
In my spare time I enjoy watching films and doing cryptic crosswords. I also enjoy travel, especially a city break.
David Ellener, Paraplanner
I have spent the best part of 30 years working in financial services with the majority of the last decade spent working in the City managing portfolios on behalf of clients and undertaking investment research.
I joined Qi Financial Solutions in September 2021 to provide support and technical assistance to the advisers and other members of the team. My role includes carrying out research on financial products and producing financial reports, as well as keeping up to date with developments in the ever changing financial industry. I provide support, insight and recommendations to the investment committee as I regularly monitor the investments we use.
My home life revolves around my family, spending Sundays at Trinity Titans with my little boy, and picking up and dropping off my daughter to her various activitives. As a family, we like entertaining and quite often arrange barbecues in summer inviting all our friends. I often get up at a ridiculous hour to light the barbecue and slow smoke a brisket for several hours. I am often seen browsing German beer websites and online butchers at the behest of my wife.
Wendy Povey, Client Manager and Company Secretary
I joined Qi in 2013. However, I began work as a Primary School teacher, which kept me busy for the first 16 years of my career. Now though, I am a qualified mortgage, protection and equity release adviser, and also hold the position of Company Secretary.
I work hard with my 'little' brother Paul to make sure we have the right systems and processes in place to continually improve our client experience.
Outside of work, I run a Girl Guide Unit, am an active member of our local High School’s PTA, and provide a taxi service for my two teenagers and our Ukrainian guests!
Jane Dearing, Office and Accounts Manager
I joined Qi Financial Solutions in 2010. My career in Financial Services started at the Woolwich Building Society where I progressed to be a Senior Branch Manager. Upon the acquisition of the Woolwich by Barclays Bank, I furthered my career by becoming a Group Manager.
My role at Qi involves all aspects of office management, making sure that the office runs smoothly together with managing the business accounts where my accountancy skills play a key role.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to travel and visit new destinations, and enjoy gardening.
